Review:
The investigator peeked over the corner. Sherlock took out his
magnifying glass to look at the footprints. Not all people enjoy
mysteries like this. They think that mysteries are a waste of time and
do not like the whole Sherlock Holmes thing. For those people I
recommend Wolf Stalker.
It’s the first of the National Park Series by Gloria
Skurzynski and Alane Ferguson.
The story is about a family that has just decided to take in a rude
foster kid named Troy. Troy’s mom had gone missing so he was
placed with the family. Meanwhile a crisis is going on at Yellowstone
Park. People are saying that wolves are killing all the deer and even
killed an innocent dog. While the adults in this story go to
investigate the crime scene, Ashley, Troy, and Jake find an injured
wolf and decided to care for it. Together this unlikely team will solve
the mystery of why the deer are being killed, and why the dog was
attacked.
This is a wonderful story with awesome details and adventure. At first
I was not sure if I would like it or not because of Troy. But, later he
became my favorite character.
Even if you don’t like mysteries you will enjoy the National
Park Series.
